Our adventure begins in Mindelo, nestled on the Island of São Vicente. Renowned as the cultural capital of Cabo Verde, Mindelo boasts colourful streets, live music shows, and rich traditions. After soaking in the sights and sounds of São Vicente, we embark on a scenic ferry ride to the stunning Island of Santo Antão. As we glide over the azure waters, a majestic volcanic scenery grows, revealing a serene haven that feels like a secret paradise, blissfully untouched by the crowds of mass tourism. During our stay in Santo Antão, we immerse ourselves in a variety of spectacular landscapes, including imposing mountain peaks, charming fishing villages, tropical green valleys, and Sahara-like sceneries. We savour local culinary delights and explore the rich cultural and natural treasures these remote Atlantic islands have to offer.   São Vicente, Cultural Heart of Cabo Verde Arrive in Mindelo, where you’ll find something of interest around every corner. Celebrated as the cultural heart of the archipelago and birthplace of the legendary morna singer Cesária Évora, Mindelo stands out for its vibrant colonial architecture, artistic soul, and nostalgic charm. If Cabo Verde were a jewel, Santo Antão would be its rarest and most valuable diamond. From lush vegetation, imposing peaks, and trails that run along cliffs by the sea or that descend along volcanic and agricultural slopes, Santo Antão is a lost paradise.
